The Hassan J. Salisbury Memorial Scholarship came about in 2024, to help high school seniors on their way to a community college by donating money to assist with books and/or materials needed for their first year in college. Many time parents may need the additional funds to help support their child’s learning and growing. 

The only requirement is the submission of an essay that depicts the importance of education to the applicant. Three people will read the essays and choose the one to receive the funds.
